Description
This was my first Call of Cthulhu character, made back in undergrad almost 15 years ago. He was an obnoxiously-arrogant dilletante who wielded a flare gun and thought he was better than everyone else. Most of the other PCs hated him, but he financed everything the group did in their investigations. (I knew the system's reputation for lethality so I designed a PC I'd be okay with dying horribly.)

The one-off ended when the gang infiltrated a ghost ship looking for an ancient talisman. Presley checked the cargo hold, failed a Pow save to not smoke some cultish incense, tripped out, saw all the Elder Gods simultaneously, and instantly lost his remaining sanity points. The ship started shaking violently, and the rest of the PCs barely managed to escape before a kraken swallowed it whole. RIP Presley.
