yes that is spyro.
BUT
its the old version. this is the verson of spyro in the insonamic games on the ps1. so therefore there are bound to be simalarites. it seems as though, the portal leads to the world where the older charicters live. including monybags. ewwww

Yeah, it was interesting. It brings up good memories of me putting in the code for all abilities and climbing up the ladder early. Then I go through the powerup and fly over Moneybags without paying. XD

There's one detail in classic Spyro that you got wrong and makes me sad, his back spikes aren't discontinued.

from what ive read about the concept art he was supposed to have spikes on his back, but due to graphical difficuiltys they wern't added until later games
