Commissioned by IceDragon-ZKind of a longer version of this. Oh and it's also more similar to the game version of Isabelle. It took me longer than anticipated, but it's probably because of how small amount of free time I get these days, otherwise I'd dare to say that it would take me only one or two days (I mean, I finished the sketch and the whole page today, so I guess I'm not the one to blame. THE TIME IS!!

Can't imagine how much work you must've put into this, but I'd say it really paid off because it looks like a very nicely done comic page.
So, I'm guessing the "fabric covered comics" were indeed the blanket tests?

Well, I wouldn't say I put as much work into it as I could have, but it was challenging, because of the person who commissioned it kept messaging me about some details and just wanted it to be perfect (I guess that's to be expected and I didn't mind all that much, but I'm not used to it to be honest I haven't done much commissions yet and it's only normal for the person who payed for the artwork to have it the way they want it. I remember when we were trying to get the Cinder cover done, it was a lot of talking too, wasn't it?)

Yeah, communications are very important when it comes to commissions. Especially when it's something bigger, like a comic page.
And we sure did talk a lot about the cover back then. Maybe that's why it looked so cool in the end.
Well, it's very human to put a label on everything, after all.
