Zax's tack

The metal portions are made out of a light, sturdy metal the color of gold. The chain links are made out of the same. The roses are synthetic but realistic, and are attached to the chain links on the neck. They also hide durable rubber bars that are designed to stay intact while not creating painful pressure on the neck. Those are tied into the mane to stay in place. There is a removable martingale strap in case Zax turns out to be one to throw his head around, as well as straps going under the belly to keep the double girths in place. There is a slit down the back of the fabric on the rump to let the tail free. The metal on the rump can be left off. The saddle is used in both his daily and dragon hunting tack, but it is the only piece that is used in both.
