update: so i couldn't stand it, i had to see if these frames were possible and i've managed to almost perfectly recreate them as a working visual style

i've already tested the window frames on windows 7 
the frames and the back button are really tricky but they should be possible using 7 or vista

i have the psd set up for modifications. a new color scheme is as easy as changing the color overlay
