Pretend.Pretend, ~Neurquadic , that this is your birthday present til I get the one youwanted made.
Clyshot and Half Pint finally have their first date . And of course the family is watching like hawks. Poor Cly can never catch a break .
This's been sitting on my computer for possibly 2 years now. I had to sit on it for some reason and then it just never made it up because it makes me cringe now. I still like the comic idea but the art... Ughhh.
I at least wanted to make try to at least get something up on Neur's special day and this was just staring at me in my art folder.

There are SO many things I love about this. But I especially love how the three different postures communicate just how likely each one is to kill Cly. Galeforce is sort of looming, but not tooo much, like she's watching but won't do anything (except teasing, of course) so long as Cly doesn't cross a few specific lines. Meanwhile, Hijack has a death glare/pierce your soul stare, like a Doctor Daddy of DOOM. He makes me think of the Dads who come to the door with a shot gun. Last and least (not a typo, I'm poking fun XP), Oblivion isn't even sitting, he's barely leaning against the table, hands ready to push himself off so he can kill in half a second flat if Cly DARES do ANYTHING Oblivion deems inappropriate to HIS little sis. (Which would be a lot.)
All that long wordage to say: OH GOODNESS I LOVE THIS LOL.

I really like the idea behind this comic and doing the posing, I'm so glad you liked the poses too. I wish I had the time to redo some of it though. Old art is OLD.

I LOVE this! Haha, I love how HP doesn't get it (her expression in panel 2 is SO cute!!!) but Cly's treading on thiiiiiiiiiin ice. Frost on the grass in the morning isn't even delicate enough for this situation! XD
Out of them all though, Oblivion feels the most threatening. Gale's more inclined to lay back and simply be the unsaid threat in the room for Cly, Hijak'll probably drop a hint and a threat with a drill when no one's looking/no one who cares is around, but Oblivion's the silent big brother you gotta watch out for! You never know how or when he'll decide to jump you.
And dude, you totally don't have to make me anything else! This is awesome enough! Plus you've got school and stuff to worry about!! I appreciate the thought, though!
(Also you need to tell me what you want for your bday in advance so I'm not fumbling like the tard I am last minute! >>)

Why is it that Clyhot constantly ends up being abused by us and being put into bad situations where he is completely innocent? Oblivion is definitely the most menacing, unless you know he loves you, you never know what's going on in that helm of his... he could be planning to slit your throat and you'd never know til it was too late.

I think that's why Axis enjoys messing with Oblivion so much: he has no idea what Oblivion's thinking so he wants so badly to push every button he can to get a reaction. Even under threat of limb-loss. XD

That's actually the main reason why Oblivion tries to avoid being around Axis. He has no idea what Axis is going to do, and he's constantly on edge because of it. Plus, Oblivion is pretty sure that Axis has some sort of power over things that make them spontaneously combust. XP
