Angel, Rosie and the others found a spot to bury Mitch.
The rain began to poor harder.
Afterwards, Rosie stepped forward and made a small speech.
“This year has been a nightmare for all of us. One hundred people entered this tournament and only thirteen of us survived. The participants were still young, but they left too soon. And General Mitch, he was a sweet and honorable man. We will never forget how much he supported everyones hopes and dreams. So please, watch over the people we loved and lost. Amen.”
“Amen!” Everyone repeated.
Betty put her arm over her other arm crying.
Jeff cried as he put his hand on his heart.
Venus started to cry too.
Blossom cried as she ran into Angel’s arms. Angel tried to comfort her sister but she ended up crying herself.
Aaron didn’t wanna cry in front of everyone. He sadly looks down with regret.
Thomas cried as well. He wanted to tell Rosie something but felt like this isn’t the right moment.
Mai ran to Aki and cried.
Aki couldn’t hold her tears any longer and cried with Mai.
Rudy of all people, looks away and cries. His shades even fell on the grass.
Mary is crying while holding her beret on her heart.
Doll is crying with her hands covering her face.
Rosie looks at everyone and said softly “Now for a moment of silence.”
Everyone closed their eyes and prayed. They prayed peace for the deceased warriors, mages and scientists.
After they say their prayers everyone looked at Angel. She looks at everyone back.
“Why are you guys looking at me?” Angel asked.
“You’re the new ruler of this island now. What should we do?” Thomas told her.
Angel raised her voice tearfully.
“I didn’t wanna be the new ruler, at least not like THIS! I thought this would be a tournament for people to become great fighters. But after finding out this was all a trap just to sacrifice innocent people, I felt like…..”
Angel paused for a moment.
“Felt like what?” Venus asked Angel.
Angel looks up at everyone and said
“Someone else is behind this trap.”
Everyone was confused for a second.
“Maurice did tell me that he’s allied with some group or something called the Chaotic Army.” Angel said with concern.
Everyone began to panic a little.
But Aaron had the strongest reaction. His fear soon became anger.
Angel looked at him and asked “What’s wrong Aaron?”
“I need a moment….” Aaron grumbled as he transformed into a vulture and flew away.
“He seems to take everything so hard.” Aki told Angel.
“It does. I wish I can talk to him about that more often.” Angel said to Aki.
“Never heard of the Chaotic Army. Did Maurice tell you any information about them?” Rosie asked Angel.
“Sadly no, the only thing he told me about them is that they are responsible for creating that Purple Burger restaurant.” Angel told Rosie as well as everyone.
“That reminds me. Jeffy!” Venus said out loud.
Jeff gave Venus the purple burger again.
Venus showed it to everyone again.
“If you look closely, you can see black aura in its core. I can’t believe we were so blind to even notice.” Venus said with a regretful tone in her voice.
“Are you gonna eat that? I’m famished.” Doll asked.
“HELL NO!! THESE LITTLE ABOMINATIONS NEED TO BURN!!” Venus shouts as she incinerated the burger.
“Aw….” Doll sighed in sadness.
Rosie looked down and told everyone.
“Its best if we leave now.”
Everyone nods and leaves the forest.
Blossom stood behind and walked over to Mitch’s grave.
She brought a flower and his cap. She placed both items on his grave and leaves afterwards.
