Damn it, if I knew it would be THIS cold out here, I would’ve brought my sweater.
But I’m still greatful that I’ve got fire magic to keep me warm.
My phone vibrated. It was a text from Your Secret Admirer.
This needs to stop. I’m NOT interested and I’m NOT in the right mood to deal with this.
I ignore the texts as usual and looked around to see if there’s any place to get dinner.
There are a few restaurants opened but they are good choices.
Ugh..why does life you so many decisions?
I decided to go to the cafe.
As I walked in, a lot of people turned their heads toward me and whispering to each other.
Like acted like if I don’t belong here.
But whatever, I’m starving.
I looked at the menu.
I wonder if they have steaks here.
I looked around the menu, and they do. Of course.
I made my order and the waiter asked what kind of drink I want.
Mmmm….I would choose water or soda but this might be my only opportunity to try out the other drinks.
So, I chose tea.
Everyone in the dining room continued to stare at me and whisper to each other.
But it really dosen’t matter, I’m here to eat, not make enemies.
Half an hour later, my food arrived and while I was eating, I heard something from the TV that caught my attention.
“Our top story is about the President’s daughter that went missing last night. Here’s a picture of her, if you see a lady in her late teens that look like this, its her. In other news, the hooded figure strikes again. The survivor who saw the culprit, said that the weapon was a gun this time and has stolen a cellphone. Let’s hope the President’s daughter won’t be the next victim. Back to you Paul.”
Well…that ruined my meal time…
A man stands up and points at me “Oh my God, its her! The President’s daughter!”
“Aw crap…” I mumble.
I decided to run out of there with the last piece of steak in my mouth and left my money on the table for the bill.
“AFTER HER!!” They shout.
I ran as fast as my legs can carry me, but of course, I’m wearing high heels.
I took them off and went back to running.
I’m not gonna lie to you, but some of them are pretty fast to even get close to me.
I have no choice but to use my fire magic to give me a speed boost.
This really surprised everyone.
I finally gave them the slip.
This is what it feels to be the President’s daughter.
Constantly chased by strangers.
Okay, “stranger” is a little demeaning, but I mean….I don’t even know these people.
At first I was okay with it, but after that experience I gone through during the Magical Island tournament, I realized that I’m letting random people take pictures of me or ask for my autograph.
They don’t love me for being myself, I’m only loved because I’m wealthy and the President’s daughter of course….
Speaking of my stepdad, I knew he’d spread the word about my disappearance.
I don’t give a two rear ended horse about him! I’m finally putting my foot down.
But for now, I just need to avoid the police and find mom.
Suddenly another text appeared saying
“Dear President’s Daughter. So you’re a fire elemental? Noice! Fire is the most tsundere of all elements and it really suits you. That’s why I love you! Stay hot you beautiful flame. Love Your Secret Admirer.”
I…..tsk….ugh…
I’m just making noises now.
I’m gonna go look for a hotel, there’s NO way I’m sleeping out here.
I summoned a small flame to keep me warm and to roast anyone who dares to mess with me.
