I got ready for bed. Tomorrow I hope we can get started on the investigation.
We haven’t got started because Mel came with her…boyfriend I think?
I don’t know.
Anyway, as I slowly closed my eyes, I had the weirdest dream.
I was working at Purple Burgers. It was closing time, and before I can put the closed sign up, I see something move in the bushes.
I became curious and walked outside to see what it is.
As I walked towards the bush, something jumped out.
I looked back and gasped at the sight of the thing.
I don’t know what it is.
I wanna assume its a dog. But it looked too….human.
It lounged at me. Then I wake up screaming.
Rosie must’ve heard me, because she ran into the room to see if I was okay.
I told her about the nightmare I had.
She smiled at me and told me that everything is going to be okay.
But I had to tell her its not.
This is the second time I saw a shadow being.
I can’t get them out of my head.
Rosie looked down for a moment.
“Maybe your nightnare is trying to tell you something.” She told me.
“Don’t tell me I’m gonna work at Purple Burgers!!” I shout.
Rosie starts to embrace me.
“Shhh, I’m saying that these shadow beings might have some sort of connection to Purple Burgers.”
I don’t know anymore. I just want these supernatural things to leave me alone. I haven’t slept in two days because of them.
Rosie had an idea.
“Lie down. I’m gonna have a look inside your mind.” she said.
“I thought your powers can only look in peoples hearts.” I said to her.
“There’s a few things you don’t know what white mages are capable of.” Rosie said with a mischievous giggle.
I can’t help but blush at her expression.
As I lay down, she puts her hand on my forehead and closes her eyes.
She used her white magic to see what I saw in my dream.
I’m a little nervous as I lay here.

(Note: Now this part is told from Rosie’s point of view.)
I arrived in Thomas’ dream.
But something seems off.
Where is the Purple Burgers restaurant? Where’s Thomas? Where’s…everything?
I’m inside a dark void and the dark fog was moving slowly.
I walked around for a few seconds, then I stop to see a dog.
I slowly waled up to it.
Suddenly it turned around to face me.
I jumped back and nearly screamed.
This must be the dog like creature Thomas saw in his dream!
He’s right, this creature looked too human to be a dog.
I began to stand on two legs, it was almost as tall as me.
Its “ears” look more like horns and its tail resembles that of a reptile.
It opened its mouth and spoke to me.
“TXEN ER'UOY!”
It lounged at me and I’m finally out of Thomas’ mind.

(Now its back to Thomas’ point of view)
Suddenly, Rosie starts screaming.
I got up from bed and told her what’s wrong.
Rosie is now becoming a nervous wreck.
She was stuttering too “I-I-I- s-saw it..”
Now its my turn to embrace her.
From here on end, we won’t be leaving each others side. At least at night.
We REALLY need to stop Purple Burger from doing this to us and to other people as well.
