Description
A leg of a young elephant, which was chained in order to attract visitors... like me... unfortunately.I don't pretend to be a bleeding heart, but still, if I had the chance, I would spare myself visiting such a place.
Somehow this photo connects to my earlier one , though they were shot in different locations and different circumstances.
Koh Phangan, Thailand.

This has such a powerful concept; the elephant trying to pull away from the steel chains just gives us a different view on zoo's and gives much more impact than seeing a whole elephant standing in a cage. Just seeing it trying to pull away.
The cold chains and the warm elephant's skin is another powerful concept.

This is exactly what I tried to express here. Another thing I have tried to capture in another shot was the motion of the elephant, unfortunately with no success... Maybe if I had a video cam...

Yeah, I've been to the elephant camps in Thailand.
It's kinda dissapointing the way they keep those elephants.

I have tried to express my sorrow through this shot and it is good to know that have succeeded to do so.
