pernese dragons move on all fours and have jewel faceted eyes that change colour depending on their moods!

From the book, it specifically states the dead hulk of old queen lay just past the queen egg. Want a quote? That queen looks pretty dead in the picture.
And Lessa was not dirty. She had, in fact, taken a bath in F'lar's weyr just prior to Hatching. He had to threaten to help her to get her to change into the white shift that all Hatching candidates wore.
The dragons hop. Their back legs are longer than their front, and they move oddly because of this. I can and will provide quotes to each of these circumstances if you wish.
Please, in the future when commenting, save yourself the trouble and embarrassment and make certain you have your facts straight before attacking an artist with your dramatic overuse of exclamation points, not to mention your lack of grammar and good spelling.

While that is true when it's a queen with eggs on the sands she stays to watch the hatching then betweens... I think Nemorth's (Is that her name it;s been about a year)all but dead and dies after Ramoth impresses...

In moresta Orlith stays after Moreta dies to wait for her eggs to harden then goes between with the old queen rider whos dragon died with moreta!

Wow.. Just want to sit and stare. Drink it in so to speak.. What detail. Now we can get a feel for what "might be" in the movie? To be honest the more I look at it the more it FEELS right. While I'm sure whoever plays the parts, the effects are going to blow us away.

The only thing I have to say is that Pernese dragons are pentadactyl and not tridactyl! Kitti Ping engineered extra 'fingers' for the dragons. Firelizards only have 3 fingers - dragons have 5. I think that goes for the back feet as well as the front 'hands'.

I'm guessing this is concept of Lessa Impressing Ramoth, and the gold in the background is Nemorth. If I'm correct, then I disagree in the fact that Lessa is alone before the hatchling. In Dragonflight, there were many girls, and Ramoth was quite violent before Lessa grabbed her head and Impressed.

There were other girls, but if you remember in the books, they were running about, clutching eachother and screaming while Lessa did her best to keep her cool. The were probably just out of the way to focus on her.
She was told to not show fear by F'lar as she went out on the sands.

Absolutely beautiful! This seems like the spot in almost every Pern book that makes me almost cry. (Yes, I'm a ninny, but better to cry for happy things) Your little dragonet looks so fragile.... I love this!

Lovely! I've seen these concepts elsewhere on the net several times before, but it's always a pleasant surprise to see them again 
Are these Pern concepts for the TV show that was scrapped years ago? Or are they concepts for the new movie that's in the works?

I saw this on-line several months back and, though I have grown disenchanted with Pern itself, I think your concept art for the film is gorgeous. I really like your take on the dragons, the environments, and the people of the planet.
