B for Banana! A For Aduka! okok.. V for Vendetta is a great great great movie.. its one of my fav hero movie of all time! this movie is more realistic because we can relate the story to our real life such as the corrupted government that covers up their crimes n overuses their power to control the innocent n create a hidden terrorism. this is the first time a hero in a movie not fighting a monster or sum fake shit but a more realistic enemy. the action, story, charater n everthing is all perfect. its a very meaningful movie too. oh yea, hugo weaving's voice acting was freaking brilliant!! altho his face was nvr shown in the movie but he made the character 'V' so mysterious, lively, interesting n cool. if u haven watch this movie, u really shud watch it now!anyways, did this in Corel Painter 9, mix media, using airbrush and chalk, its kind of like Drew Struzan's style, with airbrush n color pencils. took me 2 weeks on n off. around 20 hrs +. supposed to create a mysteriou mood but i think i din quite get it rite.. but vibrant colors r still nice arent they?
i put sumone's hand on Natalie Portman's shoulder n the guy is wearing a suit that the colar connects to "V". there is a meaning from the movie. go watch it if u dun understand.

the film was reallyu good, but have you seen the comic? it's all orange-mauve-black. I've never seen orange look so depressing. Perhaps you could draw sth from the comic vendetta? - you'd love the colours.

no i haven read the comics version.. its not so accessable in Malaysia where i stay.. but i think u can get it in the US easily.. if i hav a chance i'll read it.. but i love the movie very much^^ it was jz perfect! thanks alot for ur comment!

This is absolutely beautiful! I haven't seen the movie yet, sadly enough. No time, money or babysitter just yet. 
I honestly thought this was traditional work when I first clicked on it. Your lines have got so much life to them. I just love that you tricked me into thinkin this was traditional. The time and effort you put into this piece really shows. It's wonderful! Makes me all the more excited to finally see the movie. I can't wait!

yup u shud really c the movie^^ one gd thing about this software, corel painter is that it looks so real like traditional art. not like photoshop the artworks look very digital which i dun really like.. thanks alot!

well, i didn't watch the movie, but i got notice it, especiall the part Natalie Portman's hair been cut until bold, haha!
yea, this is the first western movie which fighting on a "more realistic enemy", but actually Chinese movie already got few years ago, it's a Hong Kong movie calledγζ³η₯γ(Quan Shen), stars by LeeHom and Gigi Leong, and the enemy they fight also is a cruel government called..... dunno what "18", haha! forgotten.. "Sonnet 18"? lol... tat's William Shakespear's poem
Anyway, nice design tho... but "Strength Though Unity, Unity Trough.....???" -.- (the Vendeta's hand shaded the words... gee...)

the words r jz the backgournd on the wall.. the quan shen movie was really bad.. it was a fancy movie with alot of special effects that were very cartoonish n kiddish.. i kind of fell asleep.. i had high expectation of the movie especially when lee hom was acting but it disappointed me.. thanks alot
