Finally made myself some kind of an ID.. a quick digital drawing made in the same style as my recent illustrations. So it's me and my workdesk at home, loaded with all kinds of stuff as usual.. My expression was supposed to be something between
and 
but i don't think it really succeeded.

Reminds me of Atrus a bit. With the tired yet keen eyes behind the glasses. Always too much to do.

Most likely one of my all-time favorite drawings, and it's a portrait. I'm amazed - I'd usually choose something fantasy-related, like your other pieces, but this is marvelous.

I really like this... everything, from the gun on the desk (awesome!), the dice, small figurines, laptop, books, pencil and wacom.. and .. is that a katana I see? This captures little pieces of you, and portrays your interests in a great way. And that look.. on your face... it makes me smile. You look peeved and it suits you well. Yes indeed... this makes for an excellent ID.
P.S.- you look cute with glasses... but then again, I like glasses...

Hmm.. i wasn't supposed to make myself look angry but rather looking somewhat tired/foiled/bewildered.. the kind of "just look at this now.."-look. But i guess i look rather gloomy most of the time.. 
Yes, well.. just for the record, i don't keep my gun laying around on the desk -- it's locked up and unloaded and kept separately from the ammunition. And that's indeed a katana.. a souvenir i bought in Kyoto a little over a year ago..
In the end there was not enough room for everything in the pic.. i wanted to include more books, some Jyhad cards, an African Waraxe, one or two of my guitars, some harmonicas, Czech Beer, Italian food, possibly a game or two, a shooting target, flight tickets, fancy shoes, red wine, a snow sculpture and some great architecture in the background.. 
Ehh.. if you say so. Glasses can be annoying at times and these are no exception.. but i like how they look, even if they are about to break all the time and the lenses are not exactly the correct.. strength, is it?

Ah.. sad but true.. I can't remeber a time of my life when i wasn't busy.. there're only slight differences between "busy", "busy as hell" and "insanely busy" ..that's my life. But i'm the only one to blame for it..

Yeah, that's Dune.. i bought a copy for my brother for Christmas and got myself a new hardback copy in English at the same time.. i'm trying not to get into reading it again yet!

I guess i should.. i've only read the original Dune.. several times. One of my favourite books of all time. Someone once told me that the new Dune books sucked, so i've been avoiding them.. didn't want to ruin the magic of the original story. But i guess that's only the newest ones that were not written by Frank H. himself any more..?

I haven't read the Dune books that weren't written by Frank Herbert, so I can't tell.. Personally, I think the second volume isn't very good, but I like all the rest, even if they are much more complicated. I mean, in the first Dune Harkonnens were bad and Atreides were good, and Paul's motivation was quite simple - righteous revenge and gaining power, and in other parts it gets more complicated - the power means dealing with corruptnes and fighting all the time, and his future-seeing powers mean responsibility.. And so I think the other parts are darker, and perhaps don't have that freshness and energy as the original Dune, but every time I start reading any of them, I can't stop, and it means they are still interesting, at least in my opinion

Also I have a lot of interests and Tolkien occupies a special place
