Description A work in progress model proving quite challenging to get right as it has a lot of complex separate pieces of varying shapes. But its also teaching me to be more careful and precise in how I mess with my polygons which is good. The original design isn't mine but rather belongs to MonkeydanceGuy as its based on this drawing of his: [link]

Made using 3dmax7, rendered with Light Tracer plugin.

Update 1: Arms, rear upper body, lower body and thighs added.

Update 2: Base model finished.
I've decided to leave it as is for now as I'd like to work on other models. I may come back to it another time to add detailing/coloring etc.

Would it be possible to stretch the head and torso a bit "outward" front to back, the model I imagined had more depth, you know what I mean? Awesome job on the rotary cannons, the cannon in the middle (yeah, it's a cannon) can be elongated more and hollowed out, Movie Bumblebee's arm gun is a good reference for that.

Yeah sure those kind of edits are easy.

I like the head design. It's not something you see everyday.

Yeah its why I liked his pic in the first place, that and it has that really bulky 'weighty' feel to it without looking like a stack of bricks.

In a way he also kind of looks like a set of medieval armor with robotics inside heh.
