Your Colt is worth a little more now since the company doesn't make civilian weaponry anymore. Keep that in mind if you ever sell it.

Sell a firearm? Never.

I wouldn't either. It's why I choose to buy them but I just left a heads-up in case you considered it. I love my 23 a heck of a lot.

I never thought I would sell a gun either, then the recession hit, I sold almost all my guns and got very little monetarily. Then I actioned off my Gold-plated "Super Luger", got over half a million at the action sale, that is all my house payments and a new car.

Well...I actually ended up selling a gun between now and then. I bought a S&W 686+ and the way the trigger and hammer liked to oxidize annoyed me since I live in such a cold climate and I don't carry revolvers...

So I actually sold a gun, the second one I bought but never again. I only buy things I really want and since then have bought two more and use them both regularly.

...you just are lucky. And...with that you can probably buy all of the weapons you had a second time if you can't get the ones you let go of.

Problably, but they had no real special value to me, plus I prefer the guns made before the 70's, before gun design started to become homogeneous. I kept only what I wanted, a P1 and P38k.
