Description I've been in a Colonial mood since watching "Amazing Grace". mmmm... Ioan Gruffudd

Anyway, this isn't him, just a random Colonial man (is it called Colonial if they are British? That doesn't sound right, they aren't in the colonies...)

You are probably one of my favorite artists here. I love your range of subjects. everything from the emporor's New Groove to this. Ioan Gruffud is literally my third favorite man on the earth (after my daddy and Johnny Depp, of course). Just wanted to ramble on and let you know how amazing you are.

I'm just passing by to offer up my almost entirely useless font of knowledge about fashion in times long past (sadly) and I am pretty sure the time you're talking about is the Regency era.

Apart from that: I like your drawing. The folds on the sleeves and the entire silhouette are really good.

Yeah, Regency sounds more right. I always associate that time period with Austen though, and I feel like Colonial America, and such was a little bit after that... but I dunno...

Thanks!

Post Baroque or Regency era? I forget... Anyway, I love his costume.

Seriously, what was this time called! Driving me nuts, post baroque sounds kinda right.

There was so much going on in this time period, abolition of slavery, advances in medicine and science, American and French revolution, Benjamin Franklin! Ah it was brilliant!

It was a time of Enlightenment, mostly. I kind of like to call it the "Revolutionary Era" since so much of that was going on.

It's tragic and sad, which is usually not my cup of tea, but that Kenneth Braughnah can make a film!
