Description
Little backdrop I've whipped together for an animated pilot I'm working on.Trying not to give away too much about this project until it's finished but I really, really feel like sharing this background.

Great work. I love it when orange and blue blend together in an environment.
From the thumbnail I thought it was Castle Greyskull.

Hahaha. Castle Greyskull was a deliberate inspiration.
And yeah. The colourscheme was pretty much lifted from real-life sunsets which I've always thought were amazingly beautiful. Was almost concerned it would be too beautiful for an environment like this, haha

Well it's on screen for five seconds which is actually quite long for a background to be a focus (a narrator is blabbing over it pretty much). Otherwise I NEVER WOULD HAVE SPENT THIS MUCH TIME ON A SINGLE BACKGROUND
