This is for the November round of gryphon_xchange on livejournal. I was assigned to draw for ~Aurinona and she said that I could draw her character in either her anthro or feral form. I chose her anthro form (which you can see here: [link] ) because Auri mentioned that she enjoys reading and I think that a normal gryphon would look kinda... odd while reading.
Sorry about being late, ~Aurinona . I really tried to meet the deadline yesterday, but I just couldn't finish it on time. :C It's not that I didn't have time to finish the picture, more like I had a lot of problems while painting. I definitely have a long way to go before my acrylic painting skills catch up to my digital painting skills.

So yeah, nice color palette in here! The bright green in the corner is very striking, and I like the detail on the arm and book especially. Do you think you'll do some OC acrylic pics soon?

The arms are actually my least favorite part of this. I think that they're too flat and the purple shading really didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. Oh well, at least I got some experience with colors aside from white and green. XD Most of my acrylic paintings seem to have white/green in them. Even this one is mostly white and gre- FUUUUU-
Funny you should mention OC acrylic paintings. Big plans, I has them. >:D
