Description
When I brought my chickens down to the kittens the mom just looked at them, but never tried to hurt them.I bet she was just confused whether they where hers or not, lol!
Pinky (the white one) seem to be disappointed that her mom can't see them apart

You need a hatchery to hatch the eggs. We had a small one with no mechanics (only the heater on top)
We had to turn the eggs a few times a day. If you turn them to rarely they get dis-formed feet.
We also had to squirt water on the eggs each time we turned them.
Once hatched they need a big box of some kind. We used an aquarium.
It must have a heating lamp hanging high enough so they don't get burned but low enough for them to keep warm.
Then when they get bigger they need a chicken house

WOW that is a lot of equipment, we had Dogs, cats and chickens for YEARS at my home, the chickens only needed a closed small shed with a long stick hanging in mid air and lots of sawdust (plus water and food of course ), as for the kittens, my old dog, SansΓ³n (Samson in English) raised several of our cats kitties, because all of the female cats just went "wandering" during the night time and my dog had to take care of the kitties

(I know it's a reply to a very old comment, but just read through my old comments and noticed)
We had to use that equipment cause we where hatching chickens in the middle on winter in Norway without a hen
We had a different batch which where hatched by a hen in the chicken house during summer
