For a second, I thought this was the male protagonist from SCYTHE, a dystopian future novel where there is a society of people trained to end the lives of others. Β One of the requirements for new reapers? Β They need to NOT want to be a reaper.

Well, Lars will bang literally ANYTHING (at one point Jastra was mocking him for having sex with Gungans, and he just shrugged and replied "Any port in a storm".) Jastra has only ever managed to get her love interest to sleep with her once, but hopefully at the end of this arc she'll get together with him for real. Lok is in love with his blaster rifle and has a thing for MILFs. Tyrran is the only chaste member of the crew. He is as pure as the driven snow
The violence is much more ubiquitous - it is called Star Wars, after all. We're always shooting people, or getting shot at, or accidentally causing mass disasters, or witnessing horrible acts of destruction perpetrated by the Empire...et cetera. As we fumblefuck our way across the galaxy, we go from one near death experience to the next. It's fun, when it's not immensely traumatizing.

Well, you're lucky.Β In the first Castlevania game, the Grim Reaper was an insanely hard boss.Β The trick was, as soon as he appears onscreen, if you started to toss firebombs at him, you could freeze him in place and kill him easily.Β But if you were off by one second, he'd summon scythes and destroy you.Β And once he killed you, you'd start over without the chance to get more firebombs...
Basically, i spent many, many afternoons as a kid getting to the Grim Reaper, getting that ONE shot to beat him, and failing.Β All hope gone in one second.
