Baltor Mussbark - The wandererOne of the great heroes of the realm. Every kid wants to be like him, traveling through the country, fighting in tournaments and earn wealth and honor. He's not a particulary good guy, he takes the side he thinks is the most helping one for his endeavors.
While working on this artwork and designing the character I always had the merchant from 'Dota 2' made by Jim Murray on my reference board. I studied it a lot to understand how he designed this character: [link] and it influenced my own design in the end quite a bit. Learn from the best!

oh, mister merchant, that's the form he takes, when some tries to shoplift from him... no wonder that never happens! not even all those strong heroes, and all those crooks from the dire, dare to try and get lucky.

What would do different / add to the face to make it more unique?

it's hard to say for me^^ I'm not a professional. He has this very confident look which is great and there's nothing wrong with the face overall. I just thought if that guy's portrait would be shown in a row with other guy's portraits of male representatives of his species he would probably not stand out as "oh yeah, that's him, the one great hero!"
...uhm yeah, I guess that does not make sense.
let me try another thing: the features he has look like they are race-specific standards. a kinda round, well nourished head but shurely there are bigger/smaller ones, some 2-3 eyes, that shaped mouth, more or less strong frontal bone/eyebrows. nothing exagerated.
maybe you could exagerate some of that a little more.
now that I looked at him quite long he starts becoming familiar X) nvm!
