LARGE IMAGE, you may have to click it more than once for full size!...Oh, did I not mention there was MORE to Merrytune's elemental spectrum?
(Oh, yes... I DO still have internet access on my trip. As evidenced by the fact that I'm here right now. xD )
Edit: I suggest you look at this set together with the first set and see if anything comes to you. >u>

I'm thinkin' four horsemen of the apocalypse type vibe...y'know? Beautiful designs though. It's nice to revisit my childhood comic.

So, since these "counter-elements" are probably either opposite or twisted versions of the others (symbols based of each other) My guess would be:
1) the other is flame and these dragons have quite desaturated and mostly light colours, so maybe something to do with with mist, smoke or dust, possibly confusing the victim or containing CO1?
2) The other one seemed orientated toward water and electricity (storms for lack of a better word) so maybe some sort of poison or something like dry/desert winds? Decaying winds?
3)Earth, fire and magma would spring to my mind with the opposite of this so something like a darker take on earth? Maybe relating to poison or rot/mold a bit if that wasn't in the last one?
4) The other seemed to be leaning toward light and magic, so a bit of a different magic possibly including illusions and mind tricks? concealing things and such? Vanishing into the shadows? That sort of thing? I can't help but feeling like these are the most noble out of this batch.

So, I'm doing homework right now (need to do 2 more essays) that are due tomorrow and it is currently almost 10 o'clock where I'm at.Β Time to procrastinate by making my theories and analysis.
First Row: The symbol and first dragon remind me of a death mask, or a face that I would see whilst looking out my window at night.Β The second dragon reminds me of the Angel of Death or a Grim Reaper that swoops down on its victims in the night, with its wings reminding me of a cloak traditionally depicted as being on the Grim Reaper in today's media.Β The third reminds me of a skeleton based on how the design seems to draw the eye towards how stark and simple it is with the spines running down its back seeming to be more prominent compared to the other designs that I've seen thus far, bringing about a more prickly, plain feel to it that feels like it is hiding something in plane site, or a memory of a time past.Β I don't want to say that I would call the element Death, but I would more like to refer to it as Tenebrous or Umbra, words typically used to convey a sense of dread or gloom.
Second Row:Β The symbol reminds me of a drop of water, but more prickly and reminding me of a thorn or a rose bush.Β The dragons' colors are striking.Β In the animal kingdom, animals with striking patterns are usually quite dangerous, with their colors and indication to other animals to leave them alone because of how dangerous they are.Β I feel a sense of storms coming from them.Β After a bit of staring, I got a flash of the dust bowl while looking at the first one because of how the sun was blotted out by the dust, bringing about the gloom depicted in the scales.Β The second reminds me of a freak blizzard containing a mixture of snow, sleet, hail, and having the intensity to throw cars about.Β The third reminds me a cataclysm of the earth opening up, shaking, breaking, and skewering the world that it takes place on.Β I'm not so sure for this one, but I think a word appropriate for this one would be Cataclysm.
Third Row: I feel good about this one.Β The symbol reminds me of an umbrella, or, more like, an object contained within something.Β This object appears to be piercing its container, causing its container to move around it.Β The first one reminds me of the Black Death, with the purple sores and markings around its eyes.Β The second one feels slimy and it reminds me of the mucus that runs down my throat during allergy season.Β The third one reminds me of hot flashes and fever.Β The word I would give to this element would be Pestilence.
Fourth Row:Β This is going to be a short analysis because it is currently 11 o'clock and my procrastination has reached its peak, with the panic monster reaching into my heart.Β The symbol reminds me of mysticism and the designs of the dragons indicate a contrast that reminds me of a Willow the Wisp with little aspects of light leading someone into the night.Β I believe that these dragons will have the ability to conjure illusions or induce hallucinations.Β I would say a word that I would associate with them would be Phantasm.

So back in old AE, when it was Spyro, the shadowing worked like this:
Fire vs Fear
Water/Ice vs Shadow
Earth vs Poison
Lightning/Air vs Shock
Which is probably no longer 100% accurate, but we could probably use as a base.
So my last guess was that the first elements were Fire/Solar, Storm, Earth, and Light. We know that the first one is confirmed as "Flame." So using that, here's my guess.
Flame vs Fear Analogue. How this would work I'm not sure, maybe it's either a sonic, noise based attack, or it's sort of like Fear Toxin from Batman.
Storm vs Rival Weather Element. Storm seems like a combo ice and lightning thing to me, so I think that it doesn't have an old analogue. The best I can guess is that there's a rival weather element, maybe focusing on calmer weather or wind.
Earth vs Poison/Rot. Basically the same as before.
Light vs Shadow. Self explanatory.

Sample 1:
-Life and/or Fire (they are all green but with fired colored eyes or scale patterns. It also seems cool if they are Life w/ fire abilities because even though fire can bring destruction it also allows new life to grow in the ashes of burned down plant life and such)
-Energy/Waves???? (idk if this is the right sort of term but the 1st reminds me of sound waves, the 2nd looks like some sort of infrared heat signature thing, and the third looks like light or maybe electricity)
-Volcanic (1st one reminds me of lava, 2nd one reminds me of ashes/soot, 3rd reminds me of obsidian)
-Light/Heavenly (they just look like they could be light or some sort of heavenly element based on the patterns and scale colors)
Sample 2:Β
-Death (1st looks like a skeleton, 2nd reminds me of a grim reaper, 3rd gives off the zombie or monster-like vibe)
-Arcane/Space/Magic (The 1st has this sort of Arcane or magic infused dragon look, 2nd one looks very space-y, 3rd is pretty cool looking but idk what element for sure, maybe magic)Β
-Poison (I don't have any real reason as to why I think this except the first one looks like it's leaking toxins, second one idk, third looks like a snake)
-Darkness/Hell (if the last set in the first sample is light with their light colored scales and patterns, than these ones might be darkness because of their dark scales and night-based patterns. And if the first sample is a heavenly element than their must be a hell-like element to counteract it)Β

i'm guessing these are corrupted/inverted versions of the first four elements, as their symbols seem to be flipped and slightly modified versions of the first four?

Second is void
Third is poison
Fourth is darkness
This is awesome! Like it very much!

Β Ohhh, there's moooore... O.O
Β But these elements look like slightly altered versions of the first four... and it's the other breed of dragons, the sharper one, sorry, didn't memorize the names yet.
Β Now I'm really curious about what kind of element would Scald have, seeing how he's a half-breed.

In Parch's era they're called Mafics.
