Katara gives one last go at saving the Fire Nation Prince from himself.Ive been holding off doing Avatar art because I just wasn't inspired to draw anything. But recently I went on a kick and this is the result.
Yes, its very Zutara. But Im neutral as far as pairings go and I honestly dont see a reason that Katara would choose Zuko over Aang..especially after the end of season two O_o;;. But Im all about opposites and they really are quite striking as a couple.
This is my first attempt at rain. I hope I did a decent enough job. ^_^

Yeah, it's the opposites thing that really got me. I wasn't really a shipper at first (in the sense that they amused my but weren't my OTP or anything), but then I saw this gorgeous picture of them in very bold red and blue (respectively, of course), and I was like, "OHHHHHSHIT! YIN AND YANG!" ...And then I became a shipper. Because I really like the whole yin and yang thing.
Anyway, the rain is very nice for a first attempt, and I like the way it's splashing off of them.

Beautiful work! I love all the emotion it has in it, the poses really bring that out. Zuko's expression shows his inner turmoil so well. The rain makes it very dramatic. Just wonderful every part of it

I like the "steam" effect of rainwater dropping on Zuko's flaming hands.

Very clever to post some art you made of a very popular anime amongst the youths.
As for my opinion, dearest one, this looks better than the last one i saw you post. But dont be afeared to shade with different colors rather than tones. Oh-- and the lines in some areas are rough. D: but who am i kidding, i havent drawn anything in months. T_T haha <<
luckily, my critic is not biased-- frankly i rather dispise that cartoon; im sure many would disagree. but hey... ect.

He definitely has a conscience, and it's clear that this conscience is eating at him, from that scene between him and Azula in the throne room at Ba Sing Se. You've noticed the excellent work put into the details of the character's facial expressions, right? Zuko was looking none too happy about betraying Iroh, despite his [sarcasm] dear, sweet [/sarcasm] sister's assurance that he did the right thing by betraying Iroh. I still think that she plans to betray Zuko as well.

Oh definately. Im sure she isnt planning on having Zuko welcomed happily back into the Fire Nation. Zuko is just a means to an end where Azula is concerned.

If she plans to use the Dai Li to try and overthrow her father on the day of black sun, then she might also try to trick Zuko into helping her.
