No one is gonna remember a Starship I had attemptedto model some 13 years ago, but I do still have an image of it in the Scraps section of my Gallery - right here: www.deviantart.com/acedarkfire… Yeah, see how horrible that is, and see what 13 years of experience turns it into. . . 13 years later?Well, this here is the "Git Gud" version I'm working on. 60k faces right now on it.
Obviously inspired by the Constitution-class (And screw you STO for putting the T6 behind such a bullshit paywall)
Modeled in Wings3D - which, while giving me a headache modeling this in it, is a very valuable learning experience. (Even further challenge is getting a texture on it - my previous attempts at doing textures for anything are less than poor)
Just have been on a Star Trek fix lately, little bored of Mechs, haven't had much interest in putting a pencil to paper lately.

I definitely intend to keep working on it. I've had various other attempts at doing Federation Starships saved on my HDD that I stopped working on because they never seemed to be right, just something, somewhere, being "off."
