Use the Comments section to rant about the absence or lack of other alien races in SU. Please do not fave untill you are going to commentWhy is it that in these discussions Gemkind and Humantiy are given so much emphasis that there is little to no mention of other probably more advanced alien races populating the SU universe engaged in an intergalactic war, trying to combat against the Gem Homeworld's conquests and their aggressive expansionist ideals? I mean they wouldn't directly attack Earth, They would have to face against an entire galaxy before they can succeed.
Consider that Earth-like exoplanets Β (bigger or smaller than earth) exist and they can easily be depicted in the show as having intelligent life forms. any earth like exoplanet and that if a Gem invasion took place, all 47 known Earth like exoplanets within 300 lightyears would rush to Earth's aid and shore up it's defenses before the big event.
Forget the Gems and Humans what became of the other countless alien races that make up the known universe?
I sense that the creators of the show and most of the fans are shallow minded and disregard such "ludicrous" concepts.

because the pple talk about the existing and mentioned subject in Steven Universe
there are other things mentioned on the wiki many theories of other races but its all excluded from the fact that they dont make any sense fitting in
the fact that is retorical, the show focuses on one thing at a time like how we see the show grow and expand from steven related episodes discovering corrupted gems and gem life still existing out the borders,up to a human gem fusing with a human,the crewinverse is trying to stuff all that information in the show while giving the viewers time to process.
in the futre probably they'll expand the show presenting new species and character and much clearer history including other beings
its early to say " why isn't there other beings related to the discussion? "

Well that's the point of it,for example let's say we engage S.U discussion and for me my opinions are based on the point of view where the meaningful of idea exist and if you were to bring something from the outside and we're talking about inside the box then it makes no sense but predicting that the fact that something out there might exist then it will only make sense in the future or past
You say that they're shallow minded but in fact the same as yours too its just not yet the right moment to insist but holding on to it makes it clear in some time

i usually insert the intergalactic alliance thing into these theories because these people talk like the alien races will just let these gems destroy their planets and kill all non gem life

but currently it gives the impression that there are only two species in the universe and nothing more. It's flipping space. I know Rebecca sugar is no astronomer but there are such thing as Earth-like planets, and they can easily be depicted as having intelligent life. Though intelligent and not the cold unfunny kind.

but try to look on the fact that they're trying to flip the viewers to the current objective like presenting steven as a human gem who goes out with the Crystal gem and on their adventures steven half human half gem begins to discover his powers
then they brought in the event of which that the gem monster were actually gems like them and soon presenting that the gems are not from earth but from another (( which puts you to think that there are other races and beings out there which were going to say plausible )) but then redirecting us to the new gem peridot instead of pointing the story on the blur history of the gems (( which probably include other beings ))
with each things they throw at us it makes us wonder and think some opinions and perspective of our own

and people only think that other alien races existing in SU would not make sense because none of them are seen visiting Earth (common belief is that aliens would instinctively visit Earth).
