Description
This mechanized abomination used to be a Crystal Gem that was assigned to Mars to protect it's inhabitants. Unfortunately it failed to manifest a physical form since the Martians' first impulse was to place it in a gigantic robot body. Over time it went insane since it was in a body that it couldn't even recognize and therefore it became corrupted, if not damaged. At the same time, the Martians worshiped it like a mechanical deity. appeasing it's fury by throwing the biped martians into it's chamber. It is capable of firing a laser from it's damaged gem, wheezing toxic gas from nozzles on it's body, telepathic communication to the martians, and despite being a Gem, draining fluids of living organisms for sustenance.

None of the Earth (or Terran) Gems know that it exists.

The design of this gem's body does not look like the present day tripods that invaded Beach city because it was built in the ancient period, 5,000 years ago! This is actually what an ancient tripod looked like.

It currently resides under a large 5-sided pyramid (called the D&M pyramid according to the Humans) in the Cydonia region.
