Description Sly's Appearance in the precursor era after escaping ancient Egypt.

Since he's travelling solo this time, i've decided that here he lost or damaged much of his clothing and present day thieving equipment. Here, he is donned with Precursor counterparts of said equipment as well as his cane being upgraded to wield magic.

Precursor technology and magic is far more powerful and advanced than present day tech.

Sly 4 is the only game in the series I never played, but this is really cool!

It's an interesting design. And I like the idea of using Precursor technomagic.

this will also explain where the Cooper Common Ancestor got his thief sense as he was exposed to technomagic as well (ironically the common wasn't and originally never intended to become a thief).

Sly's exposure to technomagic would actually enhance and add to his abilities. making him a true master thief by present day standards

Interesting setup. Than again, I would've settled for making Sly a wandering traveller, trying to set past wrongs right.

reminds me of Samurai jack for some reason but instead it's sly tying to find a way back to the present.

You could say that. Hell, to pull a shameless plug, my idea was that Sly caused Clockwerk to become the way he is. Albiet inadvertently, since he tries to save Slytunkhamen from a younger version of Clockwerk. Only to end up creating his family lineage's worst nightmare.

I'd go for the precursor thing since Clockwerk was spotted in gungathal valley fully mechanized.

I also came up with the idea that instead of replacing his organic parts over time, clockwerk constructed the entire frame (originally intended to be some sort of orinthopter) and bound himself to it in some sort of dark ritual. I could even say that clockwerk's frame is built from technomagic since the clockwerk parts have both advanced technological and magical properties.

That actually kinda works. Than again, I kinda ignored the appearance in Gungathal, since it could've been a result of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey.

I haven't explored this yet, but i thought of the idea of the Paradox common ancestor being a corrupt priest that sly's common ancestor framed and robbed.

And if you saw that pic regarding Carmelita's common ancestor, he didn't hunt down C like his female descendant, he understood C's philosophies and sometimes worked with him only pretending to arrest him in when in front of less understanding folk.

It's an interesting idea for a character dynamic. I like how you experiment with Atlantean and Mu lore.

also lemurian lore since Sly's common ancestors lives there (this is too explain why Bob is in gungathal valley which is in prehistoric australia:Β upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia…

Lemuria is the name of the continent, Kumari Kandam is the name of the capital.

Take note that C predates bob by 1000 years.

The more I read into this, the more I realise that this would've made excellent material for a sequel to Thieves in Time. Speaking of which, Sanzaru has much to answer for.Β

Here's my suggested title:

Sly Cooper and the Vault of Ages.

Egypt is the prologue, while the bulk of the game is set in the precursor period.Β

the precursors ought to have developed a time machine that sly can use. As the name implies, the time machines (temporal gate) is locked away in a special vault used to preserve the technologies and magic of the precursors in the case a cataclysm occured. This should be easy, but it's only lengthened because he's helping his common ancestor in accepting his destiny of starting a line of master thieves and at the same time uncovering the origins of many things that he experienced int he present. Don't worry the Cooper gang and Cermelita will get involved somehwere halfway in the story.

I also thought of the idea of caveman Bob and company having several adventures around some lemurian ruins and exploring the post catastrophe "Vault of Ages".Β

alrighty then, but before i go i have a few more adjustments:

There would also be two more lost continents sly would visit:

Hyperborea, which exists over the arctic ocean and home to the hyperborean civilization (which resembles ancient russian civilization) :Β www.earthbeforeflood.com/image…

Thule a phantom island located close to antartica, where clockwerk would finish his ritual in merging himself to the clockwerk frame
