In which Littlepip poses dramatically as she shoots her gun or somethin' I dunno WHATEVER I DREW LITTLEPIP!ALSO BACKGROUNDS! It's really lazily done but it's styilized enough that I can say hey! I'm artsy! Woop!
Also I finally regained access to my account. Dunno what happened but I couldn't access acesential for a few days. All gooby now!

How do you get the worn texture on top of it?
I'm working on a Little Pip piece right now, and I think it would benefit from something like that.

I don't clearly remember how I did it, but I believe I got some grunge textures from cgtexture.com and worked it a bit, plus air brushing, to get the desired effect.

Dang it, people always draw Lil Macintosh like this. It's a mouth grip people! Yeah a bit of nitpicking on my part, but eh (it's the OCD in me). Great work though.

Speaking as a long time FoE fan- the concept of the mouth grip is, I believe, relatively new- at least in comparison to how long the weapons have "existed" in the story. Especially once fan art and 3D game projects began emerging about FoE, people started creating designs that would seemingly make sense for pony-held firearms. I don't believe it is ever explicitly stated in-story if the guns are built any differently than what we are used to (of course, there is no way for any of the ponies to make the distinction). In which case, it is one of those things that is up to artistic interpretation- short of an official statement from Kkat, there's nothing really saying that one way or the other is the correct way to render the weapons.
