Description
Sherlock indulges in a clandestine cigarette.The title comes from a quote from the original Sherlock Holmes story "The Sign of Four" in which Watson warns Holmes against drug use.
He tells him to โCount the cost! Your brain may, as you say, be roused and excited, but it is a pathological and morbid process which involves increased tissue-change and may at least leave a permanent weakness."
But let's face it, we love to see Sherlock indulging in perilous behavior.

Sure!
It's actually walnut ink that I diluted with water and sprayed onto the paper before inking the image in black.
