Description
A cover i made for a compilation cd gift for a friend. The cd includes mainly instrumental pieces, the ones i listen to when i'm painting or to relax, to be inspired etc.The idea for the cover was inspired by these three amazing pieces of music in particular:

Beautiful picture. I love her peaceful expression and the way her hair flows like water. Sheherezade was the first actual piece of recorded music I asked for - i was a strange child as i grew up on classical music and jazz and didn't turn to the music of my own generation until much later - yet it served me well as i now have a vast appreciation of all music. I still listen to Sheherezade.

So beautiful and poetic ! I love how you used the watercolor to make the waves.
And colors are carefully chosen. Marmoreal colors go perfectly with the blue, and the deep brown of the ship.

This is a good idea, to draw a cover for a cd to give to a friend. I think I'll try that sometime
