Swans always seemed such melancholic creatures to me.But i find melancholy has its own beauty.Another one of my slightly experimental,more free speed paintings.Even if it might not show it.

Beautiful! Completely agree with you about swans seeming to be such melancholic animals, probably because of fairy tales like 'The Ugly Duckling' and the original ending to 'Swan Lake' and that iconic pose of theirs where they look down as if in sorrow.
