Description
This photo is from the first wedding I shot. I was acting as an assistant with Brian, and it was a great first experience. Initially this photo wasn't really much, but working with Jenseyroo, we turned it into something special.Related content

Beautiful moment.... the moment where realisation hits that there will never be another moment like this again... the princess is about to become the queen... I love it

I had seen this shot when you first posted it. I'm clearing out my deviantions now and this is one i made a note to comment on. I love this photo. :+FAV: actually. You sucessfully captured that anxiousness and nervousness I think.
Technically, the cropping is just perfect. It makes everythingg condensed. Good chaotic lines are formed with the hands and the sepia, of course, adds to the mood.
But lets throw technicality out the window huh,
this is just a great photo.

the framing really makes this shot. the tones you chose make it seem like it's already a memory.. i'm not sure what i mean by that, but it makes sense in my head. lovely <3

Nice sensible moment you got there.
Three hands instead of two really make it great. I don't know, It just gives me the feeling of 'something's being done' or 'its being productive, anxious.' You know what I'm saying?
Right now I'm in the mood for crystal clear photos, so that hair thats on the top right really is distracting me. Hahaha. Great job dude.

Glad to hear this comes across as something being done. If there was only one hand there, I bet it'd look slow and empty; forgotten even. Thanks for taking your time to weigh in, picco.

I love this shot Natefoo It feels traditional but it's not the worlds most traditional shot.. you've captured a great balance there.

now this is purdy. i love the 'teasing' sentiment this shot puts across...and it's a shot of a woman's back and whatnot (damn sexy, i say). the hands working on her buttons tells a story of an anxious bride on the morning of their wedding day, as she dons her gown. i love this one
just one question tho, was it taken with this 'frame' in mind or was it later cropped in PS?
(i'm assuming it's the latter, from reading your description)

Lovely, although I can't help but feel that the dress should be a bit lighter in the exposed areas.

Having done this for my best friend at her wedding, I know what this photo really means. Great capture and excellent job of toning it; it has a really traditional feel. Lovely.

Another great capture. I love these sorts of "behind the scenes" photos from weddings. They show so much that the normal portraits don't.
The toning in this shot is really nice. It gives it such a warm feel - I like it a lot.

Perfect choice of tint... just the right touch of warmth, and helps give it more of a sense of tradition.. if that makes sense. Great job! Kudos to you and "Jenseyroo"!

nice shot ^_^ but why f/5.6? you should shot at f/2.8 and gain two stops :/ or it's the lens that is wide open at f/5.6? hmm... lenses lenses ... anyway the shots without the flash are always the better ... even if in the church you need a night vision camera :/ anyway fill flash is fine, but i hate the color temperature of the flash light ... sooo ... hmm :/ wedding photography isn't easy lol good shots

Glad to see you've gone the non-traditional route when it comes to wedding photography. Nothing could be more boring than a traditional wedding photo shoot (especially after looking through my parent's photos, ew).
A wonderful and intimate photograph. Not really much? Quit putting yourself down.
