Yaaayyy~ here's the last picture of Zy and Raven for this bit. A redone version of [link] from last year.I wanted to give them a slightly more dynamic pose, and the bow actually looks more like a bow than a harp, and I know the meaning of color saturation. The old version is so DULL looking. Also, I was less lazy with the background. Either that, or I actually know how to use layers and change the size of the paintbrush. I had no idea what I was doing with the outfits.
Anyway, Zyxurq and Raven belong to me.

these remakes / reditions of your classic works are a good idea , as they highlight the changes in your style when compared ( although there are things to like in both versions )

I think Cupid's Roman name is Eros, I could be wrong, and got it mixed up with the Greek name or something.
Psyche means soul. And it is represented by a butterfly. Psyche was originally human... and it's a long love story.

Eros was his Greek name. Cupid was his Roman. For some reason, I've noticed, it seems that the Roman names tend to be better known then the Greek. Perhaps because the Romans myths are a bit more contemporary.

Okay, thanks for clearing that up. I personally like Eros better, since it doesn't remind me of the stereotyped Cupid
And no worries, there's more Cupid/Venus/Psyche stuff, since I couldn't resist after doing this picture. And Zy and Raven will be left alone for a bit, since other characters demand screentime, LOL. It's been four pictures in a row now.

Oh noes, not the love story! Haha, i'm kidding. I can tolerate love stories as long as they're not majorly mushy and I can tolerate them if they don't show anything nasty. Like making out. x__x
So when people joke around and they say something but they're kidding and then they say "psyche!" they're saying "Soul!" but people also say it like "psych!" or "sike!"

Um.. depends on the painter's perspective. And he ususally is depicted in some sort of loose fabric garmet. But you know, everyone was nude back then
Yes, psyche is represented by a butterfly. I don't know about you, but I pronounce it "psych-ee". "Sike" just sounds strange.
Love myths are funny, because it's just like blank falls in love with blank and blank happens and stuff. Bascially Psyche was pretty and Venus was jealous and so she sent Cupid to shoot an arrow at her to fall in love with some monster thing, but Cupid fell in love so he messed up and while her sisters were all married Psyche was still single, so the oracle told her she was destined for somebody that both humans and gods feared, and that her husband was waiting for her at this place, and so she went there, and stayed with him but he was invisible during the day and he made her promise to never look at him. But then she got lonely and her sisters visited and told her that her husband must be ugly if he didn't want her to see him and pursuaded her to peek at him and so she did but accidentally burned him when the hot candle wax fell and so Cupid flew away and Psyche was sad. So she tried to get him back and did lots of stuff for Venus, and got outside help, so Venus told her to get this box of beauty for Gods from the underworld but not open it, and she got it but opened it and was dying and Cupid took her to Jupiter who made her a god and they got back together again.
That was a majorly condensed version. And they had a kid named Pleasure, or something.
