I definitely agree with what you said about how the feeling changed when you reworked the picture. The old version seemed like the girl was cynical or harsh, due to the curl of her lip, narrowed eyes, messy hair, and harsher tones, but this one seems much softer. I definitely think there was a change, but I honestly can't decide which one I like more.

I prefer this one to the other one but both of them are really good, they both have a different feel to it, this one is pretty and smooth while the other one is a bit rough. Amazing!

I find that better than the first one. I like overall effect more, and in fact, her facial expression says 'i'm lost', while the first one says nothing.

Someone just sent me this link because of a work that I got on my gallery, wich is pretty much like this. Just want to say that I used your piece as a reference on a copy exercise, but I painted all of that. I was really practicing, and I got the picture on Painter Magazine site.
