Description
[link]My last eye painting tutorial is pretty old and I've been getting e-mails about adding more detail to it.
There's like, a billion eye painting tuts out there, but I just wrote one for Painter Magazine so I thought I'd post the steps.
No words! It's pretty self explanatory.
Done in Corel Painter X (using digital airbrush) with my trusty ol' Wacom Intuos2 tablet.
Same principles apply in Photoshop too.

Dear Sir,
Sorry to trouble you.
I am 38, an Assistant Professor in the field of Fashion Technology, working in India.
βRight from chldhood I was interested in Oil Painting. β
After seeing your digital art / paintings, I am fully mesmerized, and now βI βalso would like to learn how to create drawings and paintings using computer and mobile Β softwareβ.
I have seen many digital paintings on Internet created by using programs like Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Painter, Corel Draw, Sketchbook Pro, etc.
I have done oil paintings of huge sizes like 1mx2m, 2mx3m, etc.
I am confused about which software should I learn.
I would like to know from yourgoodself which software provides best tools to create Realistic Paintings, that too with a Huge Canvas Size without compromising the quality. I want to take digital print of the painting at the end.
Thanking you with warm regards,
Vaibhav K Dhange

LEarn photoshop it's the most versitle program for digital drawing. It's not cheap however. Alternatives to photoshop are gimpshop pro or cheaper versions of photoshop essentials. Β If you want high quality prints definitly work in a size over 3,000x4000 pixels. Most super high quality digital work is done at huge industrial sizes of 7-9000 pixels. From a beginner perspective start with an A4 size or a us letter size canvas. The best way to draw is to use a graphics tablet. A good starter tablet can be found on ebay for about 90-100$ it's a Wacom intuos 3. Digital work however will not make you a better artist. You need to practice and learn. Learn form learn color theory learn proportion and perspective. Best of luck
