Just a quick tutorial I made to go with my newest drawing.Sorry about my weird sense of humour..... lol.
Not very good but you get the general idea.

No sorry i do not know of a good one in pencil. have a look around in some groups for tutorials there are bound to be some good ones out there.

Just a point of note, there are a LOT of changes in Painter X and 11. Your way will still work in the newer versions but you can also make more fine detail adjustments to your brushes and textures and so many other things.
Great tutorial nonetheless.

I havent gotten the newer versions yet so i wouldnt know lol. I actually havent used painter since this. cant remember how to install it properly. and thank you very much.

Wow, so realistic! But i have a critique, if you don't mind. Her eyes are... Like the oppisate of crossed. Her right eye is very natural, but her left eye is looking too much to the left.

i have a question though: how do you scan a drawing and manage to paint it in corel? with out erasing the images and what not... i knew how to do this on Photoshop.

im not sure i have never tried it before. you should be able to import it from the scanner some how. but you dont need to erase anything just create a new layer above the image... sorry not sure tho
