It does show how much progress you've made.
On the old one, she looked a bit annoyed or disgusted, here she looks really soft and pretty.
Also the skin texture is beautiful and luminescent. The shadowing is more mastered.
The old one was pretty but this one is one level above.
Beautiful!

wonderful as usual, though I'd like to see some texture on her skin

Yeah, the original has good atmosphere and attitude, but this is more subtle and mature. Both are valid.
I know what you mean though, the first is probably a better expression of the title, but this is more interesting reading.

I kind of like the painty/sketchy look in the other one, but this one is gorgeous too!

you have a lot of watchers apparently...
This is beautiful!
I would say keep up the good work, and I would love to know what you use in photoshop for basic coloring.

If my hair was still black, that would look almost exactly like me...creepy. But this work is wonderful. I think I like it more than the old one.

The expression is changed, but overall I think it looks a lot more natural than the original.

Hi. I've seen your previous piece, "Twelve Thirty Three" - [link] - and I thought this was wonderful. This "v2" version however, well. This is certainly beyond that.
Although I did enjoy the "sketchy" style of your previous piece, I really like how "complete" this looks. The character in the piece looks much more well rounded and just looks, as I said, "complete". She looks more realistic as the colours/tones now look more photographic and realistic. She has been given much more life. I loved the original piece, but even more so I love this new version.
I don't think it's ever a problem to touch up older pieces as you've said. If anything, it just shows how much better you've gotten, and by touching up pieces of the past, it just shows that you still have an appreciation for your older works. I like that.
