I've been an admirer of your art for quite some time, so it's really fun hearing from you, and a flattering question

This: Brush Pack 2014 or this Brush Pack (pretty sure they overlap). Top right it's the 35 brush for the darker parts of the legs. I love that brush for gradients between whited-out parts and darker. And any dotting brush (I think I used the one from what I just linked) and I dot the whole horse in darker hairs and then I either marked with marking tool and feathering in Ps and did a motion blur or a "liquid"(?) -I forget what it's called- but it creates sligth blur in the direction of choice or I just used the smudge tool in a really large size and did small strokes in the fur direction. Underneath is my own dapple brush dappling brushes in a light color. I haven't used the meathos for like 3+ years so this is what I think I did. Hopefully it works for you. I think this (Cheasad Iatan ) used a similar method first and is what gave me the idea of smudging, you can prolly ask her for better directions, she is at least still active as an artist ^^

I'm not the best at explaining. Ask me to do a join me if you'd like a demo.

Ahhh I am just that weird old Au! Lurking around looking at pretties!
Ahhh thank you so much for taking your time and digging up the brush set! I thought maybe there was a magic brush of yours or something, a secret brush!
Thank you dear!
