Description The 1st Doctor was pretty old. I've seen the very first episode, and even though he was much older, he still had that youthful exuberance that much younger versions have. He was incredibly curious. He had a tough, uncaring attitude, but it was just for show.

That was a good one. Has happened a few times to the Doctor over the many years.

I bet that at each time he got engaged, he would pal face himself and ask "When will I learn?"

Might I ask where you got the quote on the card from? It made me giggle a bit. xD

It's from the episode called The Aztecs. I picked it because it felt like something Tennant or Smith would say. It was so random and just quick that it felt like one of the younger Doctor's had really said it.

Hartnell's Doctor was an excellent base to grow the character further along on. It's really quite amazing that Doctor Who started as a thirteen episode pastime of sorts. And now look at it!

Definitely! I think that's a part of the appeal, for me at least. The history! You just don't get that with many other shows.
