Continuing the 3DS Max trend, this is a Max remake of my Bryce render "Black 13" . Vastly done just to compare how the different programs handled a similar scene. I'm not totally sure which rendition I prefer, personally. Each has it's own merit. I guess I'll leave it up to those visiting the gallery to decide which is better ^.~

To echo what I said in my original Bryce render:

This piece is actually based on / inspired by the Dark Tower series, by Stephen King. In particular, it's based around one of the "Bends 'O The Rainbow" from that series - Black 13, from Wolves of the Callah. The scenery in this shot represents Door Way Cave from the book.
