Description
Bryce 7.1Brick texture from texturez.com/
First time I try something like this on Bryce. A lot of work and tons of fun!
The idea came from a dream I had months ago. Sometimes accurate images of them remain. The room wasn't as cozy as this one and there were a couple characters involved, who were significant to me for reasons only implied in dreams. For a precise reconstruction I should have learned DAZStudio.
One of the most curious things was a strange object, contemporary sculpture or whatever, to my right and opposite to the characters. It was roughly similar to the one represented. Since it would have been out of view, I placed it to the left.

DAZ is not developing Bryce any further. It's in an abandonware status for now. Very unfair for its quite large community. Unless they give away the source code to developers, it will be doomed. DAZ is in it for the money so this will not happen. If there's good cash involved, they might do it.

Saludos!

Very interesting & ambitious project/concept and nicely executed!
Ha! If I could pin down my dreams like this I could come up with a seasons worth of episodes for Rod Serling's Twilight Zone and Night Gallery.

Most welcome, dear Sergio!
I never tried Bryce... Used to draw in AutoCad, but that is really a pain for doing things like this AND it was in 1472!

You either love or hate Bryce, hardly lukewarm feelings about it. Now it's in an abandonware status, as DAZ (too concerned about cash) no longer develops it. There's a vast community begging for DAZ giving away its source code so other developers can carry on. This will hardly happen unless DAZ gets a good benefit out of it. Greedy bastards!
As far as I know, AutoCad works very differently but might be a good base. Not sure about how it was in 1472, at least it was during the Renaissance era!

I'll probably never get round to trying Bryce. Yet another one on a list that is far too long already for the time I want to spend behind the computer
