You know, this is kind of true though. What was with all the hand holding? Especially in the second picture. I mean, what was up with that?

The second picture, I think, comes from the fact that they had both just fallen through a vortex into the centre of the Millennium Puzzle andΒ I guess I can understand Yami instinctively grabbing for Yugi's hand for security reasons. You know, to keep him safe lol
The producers in USA said that they liked to think of Yami as being a father-figure in Yugi's life since Yugi's birth father was never spoken ofΒ or referenced to.
Though, the other pictures were just out there XD No reason for.

You also know in Japan, best friends are generally more affectionate than most other relationships and, because of this, two guy friends can hold hands in public without it being considered gay (Japan is one of the most unaffectionent countries in the world, but they do accept guys holding hands not being considered gay. This is rarely done, but it is done). Not to mention in the original manga, Yugi and Yami never displayed any sort of physical affection at all. The only time was at the end when Yami puts his hand on Yugi's shoulder.
When Yugioh first came out (which would be about 1999 in Japan), Japanse couples were starting to show physical affection, meaning that if there were couples, them showing PDA is very rare and even hand holding was kinda working its way. Meaning, if two people were to be in love in Yugioh, Japan wise, they'd probably not be that physically affectionate with each other and show more physical affection toward their best friends. Even today, Japanese best friends are more affectionante.
I probably also ruined your fanbase by mentioning these... sorry... but since you were making this as a joke, I decided to bring this up for the hell of it lol.

I am aware of all that, as I said, I'm just poking fun for the benefit of having a laugh XD The piece de resistance of all fanbases is picking out little quirks that don't really matter - yet strike as a little bit of sentimentality in the viewer - and having a good ol' giggle and a debate over it XD

Not probably. I mean he would! Kaiba might own a company but Vegeta owns an entire planet, in fact he was named after his home planet and is the prince of that planet. In fact, Vegeta's ego is so huge, he could destroy the whole universe with it. He could destroy the Earth singlehandedly if he wanted. Kaiba has a little brother, but Vegeta has two kids and his bich. Kaiba always needs Yugi to save his skin from time to time. Vegeta doesn't need anyone. Vegeta's taken down all of Freeza's men, two androids, and even Goku at one point. If not for Gohan turning into his ape form, Vegeta really could've killed Goku. Kaiba only won one time against Yami through cheating. He loses so many times against Yami that LK makes fun of him. At least Vegeta had his share of possible victories against Goku to the point of even knocking him cold.Β
