Iron Maiden/Star Wars fan artI'm busy with commissions at the moment, so here's another oldie! I almost can't believe that painting this is nearly 15 ago! (I started painting with acrylics about one year before)
I made the original for a friend who is a big Star Wars and Iron Maiden fan - so I had the idea of mixing 2 iconic characters of both together (in fact, you can see one of Star Wars and two from the covers of Iron Maiden here - one of them in the background and Eddie, which were originally created by Derek Riggs for Iron Maiden Holdings Ltd.).
Acrylics on cardboard, about 30 cm wide and 43 cm high

Sweet!Β A fine tribute to the better parts of the 1980's.Β By the title and the thumbnail I thought this may have been a Pearl Jam parody (Ed Vader/Ed Vedder), but I'm glad it is what it is.
