City of Heroes request for OpMegs, of his character - Silicon Sabre. She's supposed to be a Bubblegum Crisis homage. When he asked me to do this, I figured...hey, if I need to draw something highly detailed and tech-y, I might as well go all the way.

This is the second version of the image; I had to make some edits to correct problems with the joints - it was pointed out to me that with the metal plates as I originally had 'em, the armour wouldn't actually move.

The character's pose isn't terribly exciting, but I was focused more on adding detail to the suit.

The background was drawn in pencil and then colour-altered to achieve the 'chalk blueprint' effect. The floating neon panels are individual layers with the opacity turned down. I was experimenting; I think it worked out okay.
