That's what you get for trying to be cool using your owls and your fancy storytelling. I'll kill 'em.

Forgive me as I don't consider myself a serious critic, like at all, but this entry was so awesome I had to say something more in depth about it.
First off, your line work is just incredible, not overly busy to the point where things get cluttered by detail but it's just the right amount to get all your points across. The opening landscape shot is perfect for setting up the environment for your duel (backgrounds need love too). An isolated windswept and snow covered countryside where others aren't likely to interfere in the battle, good stuff.
Second, your toning looks very spot on and professional. In the absence of color, the right amount of toning/shading adds a great deal to the overall look and feel of a story and this works in spades for your entry. I love the variety of grays mixed in with stark whites and hard blacks. It really increases the depth of all your scenes.
Third, your dialogue and script setup are right on with the perfect mix of emotion and close up character expression shots. These guys look like they mean business and they do, so I can't wait to see what you have in store!

The angles, pacing of the dialogue, and the tones for these are beautiful, AC. Really love how it's coming out. Ah! and you killed an owl, you dick. I'm glad we did this preview gig. It sure got me fired up!
