Another one for the Brainy Batman Badguy Brigade - Edward Nigma, also known as the Riddler. With an appearance by Jonathan Crane! (ever the bookworm, bless his evil little heart)Now for the advertising: these character designs are for an online fanfiction project known as the CATverse. CAT is written by Deviantart's very own BiteMeTechie and CapitanTwinings, being an an ongoing (and unendingly amusing) series of stories detailing the exploits of a trio of professional hench-women (professional, that is, when not beset by hormones, or faking their own deaths, or accidentally makin' eldritch and unwholesome deals with strange Southern Gentlemen) and their long-suffering employer, Jonathan Crane.
In all probability, more CAT-related drawings will follow.

I like their facial expressions and the conversation they're having. 
The style is familiar... oh, I know. Riddler's style here resembles the style used in "The Long Halloween" and "Dark Victory". Me likes!

Correct, the Riddler is very Long Halloween - good eyes! I luuuuurve Tim Sale's designs, I just can't help meself.

I knew it! xD I like the Riddler style used in those issues. Makes him look more weak and innocent, especially in "Dark Victory". I just wanna hug him. :Β΄D
I checked out the webpage. Very interesting. I loved how The Clue looked like a mix of the Riddler and the Shade. (Omg! Another proof that they might be related! *inside thing with another friend*) I also checked out Villainy - looking good! ^^ Wanna read more!

Fantatubulus drawing , I LOVE the canon of the characters, but something scrathes at the back of my mind - where did you style these characters from? It is a rarity I find this style of the Scarecrow ( and its happens to be my favourite ) Muchly appreciate it will I if you telleth me the artist's name(th)....lol

Hrm. Well...if you mean the costumes, the Scarecrow's (and the Riddler's) was heavily influenced by Tim Sale's design in the graphic novels "The Long Halloween" and "Dark Victory".
If you mean just general facial features, this version of Crane is my own invention - or at least, I'm fairly sure that there aren't any other versions that look exactly like mine...feel free to correct me if I'm wrong!

Seriously it was so creepy when I saw those characters, they really do look like they came straight out of the Batman universe/Frank Miller genus ....( if you get what I mean .... :S)
I really think you should do more, its such a unique and (in my opinion at least) an awesome style. Though if you just did different facial expressions that would be cool..
