Been awhile since I posted some ponies...Another "character portrait type" picture from me.
I'm busy with work now, but I'll still try to post some here and there when I can.

Just finished Season 2 of MLP today~ I really adore the pencil-y looking details in this picture! Very lovely depiction.

It works, although it might gel better if there was a sense of sketchiness in the background, too, now that you mention it. Maybe throw a few sketch lines resembling your desired background into your lineart (I don't know if it's actually pencil, or if you just do an awesome job imitating pencil on the computer), and fill in the rest digitally? I dunno, I think it's fine.
I adore the simple/sketchy art with a more detailed background. It's like a sketchy Studio Ghibli style. It's what I've been experimenting with (or would be, if I had time hahaha).

The lines on the mane are a little messy, but this is still nearly flawless. excellent work.

Thank you :> I actually wanted them to be messy, it makes more "hair-like" feel. So it's not so "clumpy" feeling. I did it in some of my other pony drawings too.
