I attended a class about this when I was 13 at school - but fortunately, it was not nauseating or even stomach turning for anyone including me.
Also, parents should be frank and honest about this topic with their children.

I never had "the talk" this is how it worked; I ask what sex was, I was told what it was, my big bro came up to me and said "sex is how baby's are made" and I had no questions, I just took what I heard and dealed with itπ

I've never known why you need "the talk". My parents never sat down and had a dramatic talk about how babies are made. Even so I, more or less, understood what was going on when I was like... I don't know? 6? I didn't know EXACTLY what happened until sexual education in school, but you get my point.
