Description
This is the spectre V1 i have decided enough is enough, and am gonna stop playing around with it for a little while hence the V1.i am quite happy with this as is, a friend suggested using less reflective materials which i think is particular effective in this case

thanks, i tend to be lazy, i try to use plain backgrounds but it tends to make the model look flat and uninteresting

i think your plain backgrounds showcase the vehicles more but it's nice to see a background like that once in a while

i like the design of the ship . i think you're right . the shadows and highlights that the reflections cause are worth it . maybe what you're friend was "seeing" was the difference between the 3D looking ship versus a relativly "flat" background . maybe if you cut a tube in half , wrapped it around the ship where the red is .. juss an idea
