In universe 626, there are many symbiotes running around on Earth. Most like Venom, S and it's siblings are recent visitors, but there are a small few that have been on the planet much longer.
This one known as Ripper has been on Earth since 1888, terrorizing the Whitechapel district in London by killing and partially devouring it's victims while leaving just enough behind to taunt the authorities that chased it. Ripper would eventually be defeated by the sorcerer supreme at the time, causing it seperate from it's now dead host and flee. Too weak, Ripper went into hiding, entering a dormant state until he could fully heal, subconciously devouring any small animals that came near as it rest. Time past and he would be at full power, found new hosts, but none met his requirments, resulting in it consuming them. Eventually, it met a human named Jack, it's perfect match.

Jack was always an outsider among others, often teased, bullied, used and abused. His hatred for people was strong, and would give anything to make everyone suffer as much as he has. One night, he was attacked by Ripper with his current host, but hesitated when he noticed the young man showed no sign of fear but accepting his death. The symbiote asked if the human had any last words? Jack told it that despite welcoming this end, he regrets that this would make so many he hates happy. It was at that moment, Ripper smiled, killed its current host, and attached to Jack. "I like you!" Ripper said to Jack "We are very much alike, so I would like to help you fulfill your desire, my new firend.
So the two went out hunting, killing, and eating Jacks bullies. They would then begin killing more and more people, leaving torn up and half eaten corpes behind.
